Cheat Engine HELP!

I'm understanding how to use cheat engine but when i try to change the values they wont change. Is there a reason for this?!

Ok, i tried it again and they still didnt change but is it because i have to "kill" Ageis/64 to be able to change the values?

Yes you have to suspend/kill Aegis/64

x32 or x64 bit?

windowns 7 x32 bit and no I couldnt change the values even with killing ageis/64...
Im not sure why i cant change the values T_T
