Euhm...
If the mode 2 works for you better then mode 1,3,4,5 it don't means that mode 2 works for all other ppl better.
Everyone must try which mode works better for them. ^^

IIRC, there's a few items that have another effect which is exp +10%. I think they were accessories (there's a drop down menu for item effect, there's the first item effect on default and the other one you see is exp +10%). So basically it turns an accessory's exp+10% into FP bonus

For the mode's press at the trainer on "Help" then ok and ok.
The +10% -> Fp is if you have a face in your inventory which gives you +10% exp you can make it to space rabbit stats.

try using 2
