Have been doing some independent research on DMA before investing some money into it, since, yknow, spending 400-600$ before you've even bought the cheat is a big buy-in. But there are just some questions that I can't find the answer to, so I'm making this post to hopefully get some clarification.
1. How does a firmware become detected? I've heard firmware is basically copying the serial numbers from a legit card to the dma to hide the fact that the dma is a dma. In my mind that would mean as long as you have a 1:1 copy of all of the ids and you are the only one using that firmware, then how could an AC randomly detect that firmware after it potentially went under the radar for months?
2. There's a guide on GitHub by Silverr12 that shows how to create your own firmware using a donor card. Is this what firmware devs use? Would following this guide to make my own firmware be as secure as if I bought it from a reseller? It would definitely be cheaper, but I'd rather keep my account than save a few bucks.
3. From personal experience, how long do your rust accounts usually last? Specifics such as how many hours you had, when you got banned, and whether or not it was a banwave/ just you being banned would all be nice.
If it isn't clear, my main concern is security. I'm probably not going to cheat on my main still, as I've seen a lot of reports of banwaves hitting a lot of firmwares at once as little as 2 months ago. The entire point of my wanting to invest in DMA is so I don't get banned, but currently it just seems too iffy.
Thanks in advance for any info you can provide. I just want to be as educated as possible before dropping 200-400$ on this.
