Do I need a second keyboard and mouse to control the secondary desktop? When I set up CHEAT on the secondary desktop, do I set it up with a different mouse than the main PC?

No, there is no need. You can use Teamviewer (or any similar program) to navigate between your two desktops for example.

I recommend looking up Mouse without borders, allows use of peripherals for both devices. Very helpful for controlling other pc
