[Guide] Server Ban Evasion

Hello! I saw a lot of confusion in a couple of posts, so I hope this can help. This is what I do, and from my experience, I may do some things that are not needed.

1. The first step I take is to log out of all the accounts associated with the name; this could be Discord, email, or Steam. After you have logged out, it is important to note that you should not login for any reason, as this could link your accounts and result in another ban.

2. The second step I take is to reinstall Windows. I achieve this by going to recovery in Windows settings and choosing to reset this PC. It's important to make sure you clear all data and select that option. This step might be overboard for most people, but for me, this is what I do.

3. The third step is to change your IP. I see a lot of people on this forum talk about turning off your modem or router. For me, that never worked, as I had a static IP that I was stuck with. The way I do it is to go to the Xfinity store with my 2-in-1 router/modem and say it's not working, and they swap it out for free. This changes my IP permanently, which I like as opposed to using a residential VPN.

4. The fourth and final step is to create new accounts with new information and new names. I make a new email, steam, and discord.

After doing all of that, you will be safe from any ban evasion or IP bans from servers. Yes, there are easier ways of doing this, but I take the hard way to ensure 100% that I am safe.

thanks this helped a lot . would have been a headache to have to buy another $40 copy of rust!

Also if your just ban evading from servers almost everything here is un needed other than the changing of your IP and buying a new account.

I’m going to digress about logging into old accounts. Discords that are linked to servers are obviously different,
as far as steam accounts go I log into my old main every day play a few games and go to the alt and play rust never have I ever had a problem with getting linked by using an old steam account.

Just my 2 cents

What about servers that Camomo moderates? Seems like he catches ban evaders really easy. Even ones that say they use a VPN, etc.

Fair, haven’t tried it though I’ll just stick to this method, and it works for all games. Don’t know what kind of weird plugins these servers got.

There are plenty of people not doing the steps required to ban evade every day, plenty of admins are banning for this on the daily. It’s just that cammomo is a huge streamer so we see it first hand.

I can confirm this, I too have logged into id banner accounts to play other games or just to log into it and delete the steam account off my pc. Not affected me at all

I was banned by an admin from an official Killa server, he managed to generate a vac ban on my account. I'm using atomic dma, to start playing again, I just need to enter my IP?
cove think I need to buy another network card?

Changing your network adapter is a possibility to change your IP but definitely not necessary and not the cheapest option. You are good to go with a Residential IP VPN and play again.

And one question is it possible that I got a vac ban due to a report from an admin?

Not from what I know nor experienced in the past. VAC bans are always related to either cerb bans or detection of the software you are using. Getting manual banned from an admin is only a server ban and not a global ban.
