Question What IP address do the server admins see

Called my ISP and changed my IP but it seems that there are still some items left the same under Network Properties
  • Link-local IPv6 address
  • Driver version
  • Physical address (MAC)

Can the biggest official server admins see these (Rxstoria/Rxstafied/Rxsty Moose)? Do these even matter? If so, how can I get them changed?

This may not be 100% but I have a theory. The driver version, MAC, and Link - local IPv6 dont matter to server admins. The thing that they use the most is battlemetrics. My theory is that rust admins can see what accounts are linked based off IP. If you are ever in rust and not on a vpn then that account will automatically get linked to an account that you got banned. Just a theory so dont take my word for it 100%.

Indeed, you are correct. Admins use a range of tools and websites to monitor and identify users, aiming to create links between you and your previous accounts. While some of these tools are effective, it's important to note that there's no magic involved, just dedicated administrators.

Your IP address is tracked, and this is the main source. You also have platforms like Battlemetrics and other Steam tracking websites like https://steamid.uk that show historical information about your steam account.

Then you have RustAdmin, a server plugin. This is widely used among servers to administrate and share information. This means if you've been banned from one server and attempt to join another, your presence will be highlighted in red due to the shared database which distributes and shares your information across the entire RustAdmin network. I'm not completely updated on RustAdmin, so you might need to look up more details yourself or set up your own server to investigate further.

As sauce said 100% correctly, they track thru IP and previous steam accounts and some other small bullshit (do you have the same friends, cookies if you login to any server "website" for VIP for instance, do you have the same name/lookalike and so forth) but mainly IP and previous account.
