I got game banned two years ago for cheating. Recently bought an account. Im not sure if i am hardware banned. Does anyone know if i will be?

if u only got banned once u probably arent hwid banned, i think for me it took 2-3 bans for me to get hwid banned, but you should first buy a cheap nfa account to test, if u get banned within 30 mins to a hour then ur hwid banned

Most likely not, rust usually don’t HWID ban first time. The only way is to go and test, for example launch rust play for 45 mins.
