Ok, a little weird. You said I dont need to change it now you say I do. Anyways one more thing, I need a good reason to my internet provider to have my thing changed to a dynamic IP and have it changed right away. Any good excuses?

Never seen so much misinformation in a single thread before in my life. If you want to get pointed in the right direction then don't listen to the guy above

Never seen a most useless comment in my life. Please elaborate.

Unless you can tell me what to do or explain whats wrong with that guys comments? Everything he's been telling me I've seen multiple people talk about but never explained how or why and things like that. This guy has actually been telling me, so instead of just telling him his information is useless, tell him why? I wouldn't find it hard.

Someone reputable offers to point you in the right direction and you reply with this tone... lol. Also please re-read my comment, never said his information was useless.
If you are using a new pc then it's simple, just change your IP through your ISP, or powercycle your router/modem, (either this or the 1 million other ways to get assigned a new IP) assuming your IP is dynamic.
If you're worried about the mac then just use any public free tool to change/inspect your current Mac Address/es
Though I did here that hardware ID can be tracked through things like keyboards and such, and he said the router itself could be tracked back to an old banned account? I'm currently on a static IP with my ISP and Im actually trying to get it changed yo dynamic atm. Is there anything I would have to do after having it changed to dynamic? Does the mac actually change it or does it just cover it up? All I'm saying is you called his information "misinformation" which really is just saying "useless information". And I felt you should of at least told him what he was sayg was wrong, thanks for your information to as well though!.

I used the term misinformation because that's what he was giving.
Monitors, keyboards, etc alone would never be enough to get you banned, even if they were to flag them. After changing from static to dynamic just compare your IPv4 addresses, they should be different, if not there are several methods to change your dynamic IP. With some routers, it's easier than others. However, power-cycling your modem/router overnight should do the trick, as your IP will just be on a lease.
"and he said the router itself could be tracked back to an old banned account?" Server admins can only see banned accounts linked to your IP, so just change your IP.
"Does the mac actually change it or does it just cover it up?" Most common free tools will simply change registry key's
Honestly thanks a lot, you explained that really well. I think I might actually have a dynamic IP. So do I still do a "power cycle" with the router/modem? Im still trying to call xfinity and ask them which one I Have.
