My experience ban evading and tips

To preface, I'd like to state that if you actually enjoy playing Rust legit and see yourself playing for a long time, DO NOT CHEAT. It is not easy to ban evade. They track a lot of stuff and can make connections very well. Once you get game banned even a SINGLE time, good luck. This is also only for people who are not HWID banned. That is a whole other can of worms, and I wish you Godspeed in dealing with that. Anyways, let's get down to business.

Firstly, I have learned that Rust admins have a massive ego. They treat people like us as criminals. Albeit we are public enemy number one in the gaming world, but wow, they are more unhinged than people make us out to be. They thrive off any sort of control they can muster. I am thankful they aren't even mall cops, let alone real cops with real-world power and control. Anyways, I'm getting off-topic.

From what I have gathered, your IP address is the most important thing that is tracked. This connects all your banned accounts and current accounts together. That is how they get you 90% of the time. Rust admins do not have access to your HWID. Facepunch does but not third-party servers. (NOTE: I am not HWID banned, so I have no experience in that space.) However, I have confirmed that the CPU and GPU serial numbers are documented. I have not confirmed anything else. I have heard rumors about your router's serial number and MAC address also being documented, but I cannot confirm that.

Admins also document your Discord and Steam accounts being linked together. Say, for example, you are banned on a server, then join the server's Discord to make a ban appeal. They will document and link those accounts together in their notes. Furthermore, Discord bots such as Rust Legends require permissions that can see the phone number and email address associated with that Discord account. This then gives them that information too.

I also have my suspicions about purchases. Considering they track basically everything, I would have to assume they document this information too. I am not sure what information they receive when someone makes a purchase on their store, but I would imagine it contains basic information such as your name, billing address, email address, and PayPal account if you used one.

My recommendation to successfully ban evade is first to get rid of any traces of previously banned accounts and anything that can be linked to those accounts. Remove all information you can from your Steam account (friends, screenshots, videos, messages, phone numbers, etc.), set it to private, and request that it be deleted. Set up a new email address, remove your phone number from your Discord, delete the account, and then toss out any old Steam accounts. Never use your old Discord account! I'd recommend resetting your PC to be certain. Then get a new public IP address which can either be dynamic or static. Power cycling your modem/router can change a dynamic IP address easily. Before doing so, however, check your public IP address via a Google search, then check it afterward to ensure that it has changed. A static IP address will need to be changed manually by your ISP. You can call them and ask to have it changed.

Once you've cleaned your PC and changed your IP address, it's time to start anew. I recommend creating a new Steam account on your own and purchasing Rust yourself. Use a new email address and phone number for this. For the phone number, you can rent a phone number for the SMS verification on sites such as sms-man. Use that same email address and SMS service to create and verify a new Discord account. Never under any circumstance should you log in to your old Steam or Discord accounts. This is extremely crucial. Also, lay low for your first 100 hours or so. Don't attract any unwanted attention. I'd suggest setting your Steam account to private so people can't see how many hours you have. Don't use the same name or profile picture on any accounts. We are trying to create a new identity here.

If you do everything I've suggested in the same order (especially when it comes to the IP address), you should be good to go.

At first, I thought you were genuinely trying to help people and you just were lacking knowledge but after reading your last paragraph I realized you are just trying to farm rep lol.

"DO NOT CHEAT. It is not easy to ban evade."
I guess this one is subjective, but it is not hard to evade if you have any experience at all.

"I have confirmed that the CPU and GPU serial numbers are documented"
You won't get banned because of your GPU serials. To evade a HWID ban you will have to change the standard shit, nothing significant or tough about their HWID bans. All the information on what you need to change is already out there for free.

"I also have my suspicions about purchases. Considering they track basically everything, I would have to assume they document this information too. I am not sure what information they receive when someone makes a purchase on their store, but I would imagine it contains basic information such as your name, billing address, email address, and PayPal account if you used one."
Assuming you are buying through Steam: According to Steam themselves they do not share any personal information, such as name, email address, etc. They only share what is necessary to fulfill the transaction. Also if you have cheated for a long time yk using the same card etc won't get you banned.

"I recommend creating a new Steam account on your own and purchasing Rust yourself. Use a new email address and phone number for this. None of this is necessary or true, you don't need a new Discord account, etc, just don't connect your new Steam account to your current Discord. The same thing goes for the phone number, you can use the same phone number without any issues.

There is some decent info in your post, but a lot of this is just tinfoil-hat shit.

I removed the part asking for a thanks. Happy? I figured I took the time to write all that so a thanks wasn't too much to ask for.

Anyways, the part about creating a new Discord account with a new email and phone number is absolutely correct. Go ahead and join the Stevious and Bloo Lagoon Discord and connect your account to the Rust Legends bot as it requires. Go check out the permissions that Rust Legends has. Then do a ban appeal, like I did, and get denied. THEN create a new Discord account using the same phone number only to not be allowed to join the Discord. I even tried this on my phone with not connected to my home network. Once a created another new account, using a different phone number, was I allowed to join again. I’m implore you to try.

I may be lacking knowledge in this area, but thankfully this is MY experience and the things I have gathered from that experience. Secondly, sounds like I taught you something about how intrusive Discord bots collect, store, and use data.

I feel bad for the people around you because your ego is insane.

"Secondly, sounds like I taught you something about how intrusive Discord bots collect, store, and use data." Everyone knows this, it pops up when you agree to use people's discord bots. And all this could be avoided if you just never connect your Steam accounts to your discord.

Unless in your case I guess where you are appealing several times. Then I agree it would make sense, even though I've never heard about cheaters appealing successfully on servers like Stevious etc.

Also you ignored all my other points where you are blatantly talking bullshit.

Right. My ego is insane, Mr. Deny Other’s Personal Experiences lol.

What other points were there to refute? Again, this is what I experienced myself and learned. I also included things that I was skeptical about which I clearly stated. If I am wrong, then so be it. I would like to be corrected so that I and everyone else on here is better informed.

Also, you are correct. I submitted a ban appeal for multiple different accounts using the same Discord. I had no idea this was tracked, but I should have known better. I included that part because I figured other people may not be aware of it either.

At the end of the day, I appreciate your input. I got a bit flustered because, again, this is my personal experience. Anyways, thank you for better informing me, and I’ll keep an eye out for anything else I may “learn.” Haha

People like you think jt so hard, almost impossible to avoid bans. You better stop cheating and bla bla bla.
4 things you need to avoid ban.
New clear ip. New clear windows. Good spoofer. And if you want to play legit long time, good account with REAL hours AND good statistics, kd, farmed resources etc.
I am playing rust from legacy. Hwid banned long time ago. With this 4 steps, i played 16 months on Rustoria servers and didnt get cough. Could play longer but all cheats got detected sometime
