Using phone number from gamebanned account
I got gamebanned on rust about 3 months ago and it was my main steam account with my real number linked to it for steam guard. I reformatted my pc and I am playing legit since i didnt get hwid banned on a new main steam account and want to link my phone number for steamguard but I want to just make sure that the link wont get my new flagged and get a bunch of 3 day cerb bans.
I don't know much on how account flags and 3 day bans work but I have heard from a friend that everytime he linked his phone number from his banned account he would get his account flagged and get 3 day bans
