Our Vanilla+ HC (HardCore) Server is now Live!
Our dream to host one of the more intense and automated server systems that Rust players have ever seen is now a reality. Today we are pleased to announce that we have finally released our Vanilla+ HC server to the public.
So what is Vanilla+ HC?
The Vanilla+ aspect in our title means the following, core vanilla setup but with random moments that gather and loot tables will be harder to obtain items in the map. We call this HardCore Mode hence the HC in our title. HardCore mode kicks in randomly throughout the day numerous times for usually 60 minutes before it releases. During this mode, players will find that all loot tables have been cut in half from the usual Vanilla, and also at the same time all gathering and pickups have also been cut in half until these random hours are up!
Another aspect of our HardCore (HC) dynamics is the fact we are on RealTime for our days and nights. RealTime will tie to our East Coast server time and the days will last as long as the days in the real world. This will also extend the nights in our servers to Real Time. Don't worry, we also added a mod to make all nights FULL MOON but the challenge still remains to conduct your activities in the dark. This is to push the need for electricity more and also to enhance being spotted by other players easily.
Some Enhancements
PVP (Player Vs Player) is seriously encouraged on our Vanilla+ HC server! We don't have team limits nor do we have set rules in place for how players get the job done when getting the loot they need. Raiding, PVP, plus plain and simple aggressiveness is completely a dynamic we hope for on this server.
To enhance these aspects, we also have a mod in to reward players for PVP Kills that will give tiered cases for each players achievements. This works in a KILLSTREAK style, so basically the longer you live and rack up the PVP Kills, the more chances for cases to open with special loot for your accomplishments. The ladder resets though on death, you keep the cases you acquired but you are right back to tier 1 case rewards for you next kill and will have to climb the ladder again for better cases.
Cases also act as a virtual cloud storage. If you don't redeem your items in the special inventory of this mod, it will remain there for later till you have decided to put these items in your game inventory. We will never wipe these cases nor will we wipe the cloud inventory made available to you in this mod. This will remain yours for life and we also host backups for every player in case of issues. We feel this may allow months from now to become a very interesting situation where the more regular players will become the challenge to deal with, thus making HardCore even more HARDCORE!!!!
