The Free Trade Hacking Massacre -Powerbot.org-

In late December 2010 Jacmob and Arbiter decided to acquire powerbot.org by force. Not content with the modest profits from selling scripts, their intention was to close the RSBot source code and make it pay-only with prohibitively expensive prices similar to the Nexus business model. I disagreed with their plans and shortly afterwards they left.

Before leaving, Jacmob deviously switched the download link on the site to a version of RSBot that was infected with a password stealer. Having conspired with Arbiter to ruin the reputation of the site they intended to mass-hack accounts when RuneScape reintroduced free-trade.

Since many of our users still compile their own RSBot with SVN, Arbiter infected all his paid scripts with the same password stealer effectively conning his own customers. Arbiter has been using the aliases Gh0$t, NoEffex, Blackbone and others with a group of friends to coordinate this criminal operation.

To make matters worse, Arbiter created a closed-source fork of RSBot which was infected with a botnet. Anyone who innocently ran his bot would have been part of a large network of compromised computers which he used to launch a DDoS attack on powerbot.org.

We deeply regret not being able to detect the breach of our systems sooner. We will make every endeavour to tighten our security to prevent similar incidents. We have also upgraded our infrastructure with state of the art equipment and hardware firewalls to prevent DDoS attacks from causing too much downtime.

Arbiter has vowed to hack us again and will make every attempt to do so. Please be weary of his lies and threats. To date he has made thousands of dollars from his hacking activity.

Please make sure you continue to dispute all payments ever made to Arbiter or ArbiBots on PayPal.

Arbiters personal details have been obtained and are being passed onto lawyers representing Jagex. When they have confirmed to us that they have begun their legal proceedings, we will make a full disclosure on this information which includes tax registration documents, home address, telephone number, IP addresses, screenshots, pictures and more.

War of the Botters. Powerbot Vs Rs buddy The explanation.

Currently in the runescape botting world there is a crisis. Accounts are being hacked, valuables are being lost.
Many people are wondering WHAT THE HELL HAS HAPPENED? WHY DID THIS GO TO SHIT SO QUICKLY? and i have answers.
I have been taking part in this project over the last few months, i have now looked at the consequences of what i have done and have
realised that its not worth it anymore.

Heres how it started

This has been planed out months ago, we started to talk about it in may 2010 but only started working on it in July.
The two main Developers of the project were fed up with the powerbot community, Jacmob was having arguments with Paris about how the
site was going downhill, there was too many botters and not enough contributers. Jacmob was fed up with this and decided to try and
buy out powerbot. The amount that jacmob offered was high but paris would just not take it, this led to arguments within the staff
and the replacement of many staff members. Jacmob decided to stay on as the developer, but always intended to resign sometime
within the next 6 months. Soon after this, the old RSBot.org domain was bought out by jagex which led to more arguments within the
staff. During this time Rsbot2 was being developed. Many of the staff took 2 sides, Most with Paris and the others with Jacmob (Arbiter & Toshi). The Project was started soon after this, originally it was started only to piss of Paris and show that the website would be nothing without them, however soon after this other factors came into play, such as member numbers, Monopoly of the botting industry & soon after that money. The project was originally very small with only about 15 people who knew what was going on, throughout this time they just did what they normally did on Powerbot, but other times they were creating a website & another Botting client. We launched the website on a private domain and soon after that we started to test the new client everything was working and was great, but soon after this we ran into a large problem, because our client is not open sourced to form some sort of protection for the client (From the jagex lawyers) & to make sure no one could edit our client (Sabotage) we had to create a Company (Company's have legal rights and immunities against certain laws), thus Automaton Software Ltd was born, the only problem we had now was the actual cost of registering the company. The company is registered in Germany for many reasons, the main one is that we would have certain immunity to many laws mainly because we could licence our software as freedom of speech. The costs of hosting the domain & licencing the company was going to cost thousands of Euro's to set up, we had already gone past our original budget and were using our own money to fund the project. We now had to think outside the box to come up with funding solutions, arbiters scripts were making money, but not nearly enough to fund the whole project, soon after this we came up with an idea which would tear the botting community appart. Arbiter is well known for his scripts, the best thing was that people couldn't see the source code of the scripts, so we could put anything we wanted into them and no one would ever know. we started to code a key logger which would take the Rsbots account data, decode it & send it to us via email's. This was reletivly easy because jacmob (Being the coder) knew how to decode the files, we planed on hacking everyones account and collecting all the gold & items and selling the accounts to gold selling websites (As this was before the announcement of free trade came). We actually started taking passwords in early December but due to a number
of issues (With the licencing & the company) we were forced to wait till early January to start our operation, which worked out perfectly for us. On December 24th the announcement on free trade came, we knew this would work to our advantage so we decided to wait till free trade came back. Our estimates were that we could collect about 40 Billion GP which sold for 50c (Usd) a mil we could
get about $20,000 American dollars, which would fund our site for the next few years. In doing this we also decided that it was far
too risky to do the collection of GP ourself's, Paris was an old hacker who knew how to backtrack ip's and could easily screw us all
over, we also didn't want our ip's to be traced by the government or by jagex (Both would end in a lawsuit against us) so we decided
to hire some kids who would do the work for us, in return we would give them cash + all the GP they wanted this is how gh0st got
involved. Gh0st was not a hacker, he was a leecher who was trying to learn how to hack, the perfect disguise... We literally got gh0st (Some 14 year old kid) to do all the transferring for us (We also hired some others but gh0st was the main one) all he did was create accounts and transfer the GP onto them. The other part of the deal we had with him was to say that he had done all the hacking and to take all the credit, Luckily he was quite good with photoshop and created some pretty good pictures of the account lists.
We gave him all the logs of passwords on the day before free trade and let him get to work. The next thing that came was the
advertising of our own site and trying to take there members, we made many ad's on the powerbot site to come to our new better client
and on the Rsbot Twitter. Eventualy we were Ip banned of Powerbot and couldnt access the Twitter, this was when we started DDosing
Thier site. We all used Rdos to ping there site till there was nothing left, what we didnt expect was them DDosing us back. This lead
to the dossing war which is continuing right now. we have taken down their site, Ours is still up but is very slow to load. This
is where the story ends... For now

You might think this is bullshit, think what you want, i have given an explanation to the current events to the best of my knowledge.

Ende Dezember 2010 entschieden sich Jacmob und Arbiter powerbot.org mit Gewalt zu erwerben. Nicht zufrieden mit den bescheidenen Gewinnen aus dem Verkauf von Skripten, war ihre Absicht, den RSBOT Clienten zu schließen und sie bezahlbar mit den unerschwinglichen Preisen ähnlich der Nexus-Geschäftsmodell zu machen. Ich widersprach ihren Plänen und kurze Zeit später verließen sie mich.

Bevor er ging, tauschte Jacmob (Administrator von Powerbot.org) den RS-Bot mit einem anderen infizierten Clienten. Nachdem er sich gegen mich verschworen hatte, wollte er nun ein Hack-Massaker durchführen und alle Accounts stehlen.

Da viele unserer Nutzer noch den eigenen RSBOT mit SVN kompilieren, infizierte Arbiter (ebenfalls Powerbot.org Admin + ArbiBots Admin) alle seine bezahlten Skripte mit dem gleichen Passwort Stealer effektiv gegen seine eigenen Kunden. Arbiter war bekannt mit den Aliasnamen GH0 $ t, NoEffex, Blackbone ect. mit einer Gruppe von Freunden um diesem kriminellen Vorgang zu koordinieren.

Erschwerend kommt hinzu, erstellt Arbiter ein Closed-Source Gabel RSBOT, die mit einem Botnetz infiziert wurde. Das heißt, er hatte außerdem noch zu jedem Client noch ein Botnetz eingeführt, sodass alle Spieler ein Botnet auf ihrem PC hatten, mitdenen er Powerbot.org angriff.

Alle, die mit RSBot arbeiten aus Powerbot.org, sind nun Teil eines Botnetzes!

Wir bedauern zutiefst, nicht in der Lage zu sein, den Verstoß gegen unsere Systeme früher zu erkennen. Wir werden alles versuchen, um ähnliche Vorfälle zu verhindern anziehen. Wir haben auch unsere Infrastruktur mit modernster Ausrüstung und Hardware-Firewalls ausgestattet, um DDoS-Attacken und Ausfallzeiten zu vermeiden zu können.

Krieg der Botters. PowerBot Vs Rs Kumpel die Erklärung.

Derzeit in der Runescape botting Welt gibt es eine Krise. Konten werden gehackt, Wertsachen sind verloren.
Viele Menschen fragen sich, was zum Teufel ist geschehen? Warum ist das GO so schnell SHIT? und ich habe Antworten.
Ich habe die Teilnahme an diesem Projekt in den letzten paar Monaten mitgemacht und nun an den Folgen von dem, was ich getan habe, eingesehen und erkannt, dass es sich nicht mehr lohnt.
Hier, wie es begann

Dies wurde vor Monaten geplant. Wir fingen an darüber zu reden im Mai 2010,begannen aber erst, daran zu arbeiten im Juli.
Die Entwickler des Projekts fanden, dass es bergab mit Rs-Bot ginge, und es nicht genügend Zahler gab. Jacmob (Entwickler) hatte nun eine Idee und versuchte die ganze Seite Powerbot.org für sich zu kaufen. Der Betrag, den jacmob mir angeboten hatte war hoch, aber Paris lehnte ab, dieses führte zur Auseinandersetzungen innerhalb der Belegschaft und der Ersatz von vielen Mitarbeitern. Jacmob beschlossen zu bleiben, wie auch die Entwickler, aber er wollte in den nächsten 6 Monaten zurücktreten. Bald darauf wurde die alte Domain RSBot.org von Jagex gekauft, die mehr Argumente innerhalb der LED
Personal. Während dieser Zeit war Rsbot2 entwickelt. Viele der Mitarbeiter haben 2 Seiten, die meisten mit Paris und der andere mit Jacmob (Arbiter & Toshi) geleitet worden sind. Das Projekt wurde kurz nach dieser begonnen. Ursprünglich war es nur von Paris gestartet und zeigen, dass die Website wäre nichts ohne sie jedoch bald darauf andere Faktoren ins Spiel, wie Mitglied Zahlungen, Monopole der Botting Industrie & schnelles Geld. Das Projekt war ursprünglich sehr klein und hat nur etwa 15 Leute, da es auch noch andere Botting-Seiten gab. Wir haben die Website auf einem privaten Bereich und bald darauf begannen wir, den neuen Client alles funktionierte testen und war groß, aber bald danach gerieten wir in ein großes Problem, denn unsere Kunden nicht bezogen ist auf irgendeine Art von Schutz-Formular zu öffnen für den Kunden (Aus der Jagex Rechtsanwälte) und um sicherzustellen, dass niemand unsere Kunden (Sabotage) hatten wir eine Firma (Gesellschaft haben bestimmte Rechte und Immunitäten gegen bestimmte Gesetze), so Automaton Software Ltd geboren wurde, das einzige Problem, erstellen und bearbeiten Wir hatten jetzt wurde die tatsächlichen Kosten der Eintragung der Gesellschaft. Das Unternehmen ist in Deutschland aus vielen Gründen registriert, ist die wichtigste, dass wir gewisse Immunität gegen viele Gesetze in erster Linie, weil wir unsere Software-Lizenz als freie Meinungsäußerung haben. Die Kosten für Hosting der Domain & Lizenzierung des Unternehmens ging um Tausende von Euro auf Kosten einzurichten, hatten wir bereits an unserem ursprünglichen Budget gegangen und wurden mit unserem eigenen Geld, um das Projekt zu finanzieren. Wir hatten nun zu den Tellerrand zu kommen mit der Finanzierung wurden Streitschlichter-Skripte, Geld zu verdienen, aber nicht annähernd genug, um das gesamte Projekt zu finanzieren, bald nach diesem kamen wir auf eine Idee, die die Gemeinde botting reißen würde auseinander. Arbiter ist bekannt für seine Drehbücher bekannt, war das Beste, was Menschen nicht sehen konnte, den Quellcode des Skripts, und so konnten wir alles, was wir wollten in sie und niemand würde je erfahren, setzen. wir begonnen, ein Key-Logger, die Rsbots Kontodaten nehmen würde Code entschlüsseln und senden es uns per E-Mail's. Das war einfach, weil reletivly jacmob (Als Coder) wusste, wie man die Dateien entschlüsseln, gehobelt wir über das Hacking jedermanns verändern und das Sammeln alles Gold & Begriffe und den Verkauf der Konten zu Gold verkaufen Webseiten (Da dies vor der Ankündigung des freien Handels kam ). Wir haben tatsächlich angefangen, Passwörter Anfang Dezember, aber aufgrund einer Reihe
von Fragen (Mit der Lizenzierung und der Gesellschaft) waren wir gezwungen, bis Anfang Januar warten, um unseren Betrieb, die aus funktionierte perfekt für uns starten. Am 24. Dezember die Ankündigung über Freihandel kamen, wussten wir, würde dies zu unserem Vorteil, so dass wir warten, bis Freihandel zurückkam entschieden. Unsere Schätzungen waren, dass wir rund 40 Milliarden, die für GP 50c (USD) eine Million verkaufte konnten wir sammeln
erhalten etwa 20.000 Dollar US-Dollar, die unsere Website für die nächsten Jahre würde zu finanzieren. Dabei haben wir auch beschlossen, dass es weit
zu riskant, die Sammlung von GP ourself's zu tun, war Paris eine alte Hacker, wie backtrack ip's und könnte leicht Schraube uns alle wussten,
vorbei, wir auch nicht wollen, dass unsere IP's von der Regierung oder von Jagex zurückgeführt werden (Beides würde in einem Gerichtsverfahren gegen uns Ende), so dass wir beschlossen
einige Kinder, die die Arbeit für uns tun würde mieten, im Gegenzug würden wir ihnen Cash + alle GP wollten sie das ist, wie gh0st bekam
beteiligt sind. Gh0st war kein Hacker, war er ein leecher, die versuchen zu lernen, wie zu hacken war die perfekte Tarnung ... Wir haben buchstäblich gh0st (ca. 14 Jahre alten Kind) alles zu tun, die Übertragung für uns (Wir haben auch einige andere, aber gh0st war der wichtigste) alles, was er tat, war Konten erstellen und übertragen Sie die GP auf sie. Der andere Teil des beschäftigen wir uns mit ihm hatte, war zu sagen, dass er alle Hacking getan und alle Kredit zu nehmen, zum Glück war er ganz gut mit Photoshop erstellt und ein paar ziemlich gute Bilder von dem Konto-Listen.
Wir gaben ihm alle Protokolle von Passwörtern am Tag vor Freihandel und ließ ihn an die Arbeit. Das nächste, was kam, war das
Werbung für unsere eigenen Website und zu versuchen, dort nehmen die Mitglieder, haben wir viele Ad's auf der PowerBot Seite, um unsere neuen Kunden besser kommen
und auf der RSBOT Twitter. Evtl. waren wir Ip verboten von PowerBot und couldnt Zugriff auf das Twitter, das war, wenn wir DDosing gestartet
Ihre Website. Wir alle verwendeten Rdos ping dort vor Ort bis nichts mehr übrig war, was wir nicht erwartet wurde ihnen DDosing uns zurück. Dies führte
die Dossing Krieg, ist jetzt fortfahren. wir haben ihre Stelle zu entnehmen, ist noch bis Ours ist aber sehr langsam geladen. Diese
ist, wo die Geschichte endet ... Denn jetzt

Man könnte denken, das ist Bullshit, denken was man will, ich habe eine Erklärung zu den aktuellen Ereignissen, die nach meinem besten Wissen.

Jagex hat die Seite gekauft, damit weniger Spieler botten und es sie abschreckt.
Leider wurde die 2. Seite (Powerbot.org) sehr schnell berühmt, sodass Jagex im Endeffekt nur wenig davon hatte. Rechtliche Schritte können sie gegen BotSeiten wenig machen, da die Seite (AGB, Regeln) aussagt, dass die Inhalte nicht für Runescape gedacht sind (Jeder weiß, dass man es machen soll).

14000 Accounts zu hacken, ist aber was ganz anderes und wird straftrechtlich verfolgt.

Hello faithful ArbiBots members. This is Arbiter here. The last few days have been crazy for all of us. While other parties are satisfied with feeding you all lies, I feel you deserve to know the truth.

Jacmob created RSBot 2.0, bringing RuneScape botting to the next generation. Though it was Jacmob making Powerbot a success, Paris was greedily reaping all the benefits. He was pocketing the funds from ten banner ads each priced at $1800/mo plus thousands of dollars in VIP and Sponsor subscriptions monthly. But that wasn't enough for him. He then made under the table deals to allow people to break the scripting rules that Jacmob had put in place. He had had enough. About a month ago Jacmob approached Paris with an ultimatum: Hand over ownership of Powerbot to Jacmob and receive 70% of the money acquired from the website. You see Jacmob was never in it for the money. He just wanted to lead a successful project.

Paris, being who he is, did not find that 70% was not enough money for him. Instead he hired Qauters, aka Liang, to attempt to maintain the bot that Jacmob had created. Jacmob kept to his word and gracefully resigned that day. It was also that day a new project began, RSBuddy. His goals of creating the best RuneScape bot did not change. He came to me, a personal friend, to help him out. Without a second thought I agreed. For the last four weeks we have been hard at work creating the new website and bot software. 48 hours before its release I notified Paris of my intentions to resign and an explanation as to why. Paris said that he would "defend his investment aggressively," but I never thought he would stoop as low as he has.

After a few days, free trade is released along with the unfortunate hacking of numerous accounts through RSBot. Paris saw this as an opportunity to frame me in order to take out competition. This would not be his first time as he has tried similar smear campaigns with KBot, a very successful bot in 2010. However, news soon spread that it was in fact an infamous hacker named gh0$t, someone who has been in this scene for years now. He acquired access to the Powerbot server and uploaded an infected RSBot-222.jar. Thousands of people downloaded this file and were infected as far back as two weeks before free trade came out. Once hearing this news Paris decided to push his lie further. He is now trying to convince people that Arbiter, Blackbone, NoEffex, and gh0$t are all the same person. Such an impossible lie is very hard to believe, and many members are starting to realize the truth. Paris refuses to provide any proof for his claims, because there is none. He is trying to frame an innocent person to hide a vulnerability in his own security and take out a competitor.

However, I can provide you with what he cannot. gh0$t has revealed everything to the public. His explanation can be read here:
In summary, there was a flaw in Powerbot's security giving him access to upload the JAR file to their server. Thousands upon thousands of innocent RSBot users downloaded it and found themselves infected. He then compiled a list of all accounts and went down the list on Febrary 1st, looting whatever he could. This security breach was caused by the new developer, Qauters/Liang. ArbiBots has been hard at work getting as far away from RSBot as possible as customer's safety is our top concern. It is fortunate that it was only the JAR that was infected and we here at ArbiBots do not use that. We use the SVN source code to update and therefore there was no malware in our version. However, this was just a stroke of luck and that is not enough for me. I, along with ArbiBots, will be porting over to RSBuddy, Jacmob's new bot project, a secure way to continue our RuneScape experience.

I ensure you that we will do everything possible to make this transition as smooth as can be. The API is different and we will require time to get everything back online. However, we are giving you all the bots for free! The reason we are doing this is because you all deserve some compensation for your patience and hopefully hundreds of dollars worth of paid bots will do the trick. It also allows us to get a lot of feedback from users, so we can make this product all the better for you. I repeat, all ArbiBots scripts will be free for a limited time. When this duration is up and we feel all our products are up to our usual standard we will restore individual access and you will receive all the scripts you have purchased.
