Looking to start A Server

Personally I know what its like because the reason Ion Rohan went down was because of one outside developer. He tried to threw shade on Ion Rohan to make it seem as if the owner "me" was doing something that no other server could do. Run a good server, I had servers falling left and right to rohan with a population of 1,300+ players daily and a peak of 1,515 players.

Oooooo aaaahhhh Im such a threat because I had a good server so this person I'll call "he" decided hey lets release this Cheat Engine exploit to the general public of rohan. He caused the retail server of Rohan to have issues with hackers as well as my own. I was bribed with pay me "$400" a month for backdoor protection as well as "$100" to make sure we don't hack your server.

Now lets speed up to the end of IonRohan at which I had about 235 players online daily after 1 1/2 months of newbs using cheat engine like they made it. Since I told that "he" fuck you and shove that $400 where the sun don't shine... I closed my server with pride since I don't give into bullshit.

Since that time I haven't been able to see one server last the 11 months mine did. Im sure my server would have last maybe 3 years with a vast community but one developer spoiled it for all us. He released this cheat engine to the private server and retail community screwing everyone because he's a 2 year old.

I hope that "he" is reading this I didnt post your name here because I still have the picture of our conversations on Skype. Got your real name and everything *facepalm* just not worth it. I hope I see another good server soon! Here is my little 3 shots of fireball rant for the night wubba lubba dub dub!

I didn't quite understand what you wanted to talk about marking me in the post, but I agree with the remainder you wrote. And really I liked to play on your server.

With @ I'm confident he'll do a good job. After a conversation off-forum gave to understand better. Then you have my support.

Ye, we found it abso, right now we fixing stuff, also gotta work on the antihack (since theres adv hk now) so, right now, we cant give any eta, Lv.99 cap probably (later we can prob change to hero2/3 but we gonna wait to see what happens cuz like, for old players like us, we kinda dont like hero skills), and about rates, we still thinking about it, we kinda thinking about xor rates, but we aint sure yet.

See, here's the difference between you and me. I develop pservers for more games than Rohan. Tera, Aion, Black Desert, Neverwinter... I don't run pservers except to test my work. I leave that hassle of that to the guys that want to run them. I couldn't be bothered with the political BS behind running one (I've already done that with Xiro on Ion Rohan 2). Some of my pservers work with the latest North American and EU clients.

And the server code is available to anybody that wants it. FOR FREE. Source code and all. All you have to do is go onto GitHub and grab a copy.

The real difference is I DEVELOP pservers, not run them. I Also don't spam-sell my stuff all over here here or anywhere else. Can you say the same without lying?

You know GitHub is a source code repository, right? If I made a ROHAN emulator, you can bet it would be there.

Alright guys, while I am glad the thread has been hijacked to measure e-peens I would like to get back to the original subject. I have had a few people shoot me some ideas and I have a few developers that have been talking to me. I personally would like to invite all developers to the cause and lets come together and make a great new experience that the players have been begging for. If you just want to argue there are plenty of other threads you could choose to do so.

Now as far as ammadpurba, you try to sell your wares to me then also try to bash the ability to make a good server saying it will fail. Why would I ever buy from you? I will talk to someone else, I appreciate the offer though.

As for the rest Guys I implore you to tell me your ideas and wishes for a server. Send them to me with pms in this forum whatever method you like. The best ideas will get used. I am so wanting to fix something that seems so unfixable, and not ruin the core of the game which has been done OVER and OVER. So here is to hoping for awesome ideas and maybe a few more developers to our growing team.

To be honest , hero skills did gave some of the weaker classes more power and advantage , and it also kept the game updated and new , new features , new visuals , so I don't think you should get rid of that , I actually think you should even make more and more new skills so that the game will keep bringing something new and keep the interest of people , new stat/skills builds for different classes , new metas etc ... that's fun , League of Legends are doing it ,the game is the same as it first started , but they add new champs , new skills , reworks , metas ... makes it fun and it works for them.
Cuz let's face it , xor rohan was cool , we all played it for years , but if it wasn't for the competitive play against the players/guilds and all the drama , everyone would get bored quickly.. At least I did on xor , I spent lots of hours and resources to go through every single class 5-6 times , reselling and trading gear , just to keep myself entertained and to keep myself playing.So I was really interested and I really wanted to try the new "hero" skills when the came out so it made me play even more. At least that was a big issue to me with the game , tho I do love the game A LOT , and I cannot wait for it to be revived.
Anyways ... can you get it running alrdy? I have nothing to do ..
Oh and let's not give players, lv 1 shields with DD/melee etc .. this time , alright? Alright .

We do have 3 developers atm, but no eta as of yet. We want to have a completed game server before rolling out and having to do a whole bunch of patches right off the bat. I will be taking applications for people to help test things in another forum post in about a week or so.
