Playwith has been describing it on their forums as an RTS/MOBA genre of game. That is what Rohan Conquerer appears to be. Given when the Rohan Conquerer's teaser video was originally posted and the latest announcements, the project development timing is just about right (2-4 years depending on complexity).

Granted that a couple years is more than enough time for playwith to have made some major gameplay changes, my guess expanding on the RTS amd MOBA aspects, I personally don't care for that game style. Just not my type of MMO game. I much prefer the more immersive, free-camera style 3rd person action (not turn-based) MMPRPG. Those are the games that draw and keep my attention.

Rohan 2 looks more like a League of Legends wannabe than an MMORPG and tbh I never cared for LoL at all. Not impressed and won't be playing it.

Correct, it's some sort of lol/dota 2 type gameplay.. MMORPG game type is still the best I guess.
