Besides which part of those instructions seem pretty difficult for you? even an idiot with modding background could follow those simple steps.

But to give you some kind of answer to your original question, most of the guys here either patched a virgin rohanclient.exe or they simply downloaded one of them that have been linked here over the years. Most guys for this don't have the technical skill to actually do their own patching, even with Oziel's repost of very clear skEncrypt's instructions.

Anyway this TUTORIAL THREAD is in regards to editing the refresh rate in rohanclient.exe. It has absolutely nothing to do with packing or unpacking EXE files - of which there is more than enough unpacking tutorials out on the web if you are not simply too damn lazy to google it. THAT doesn't require a phd in computer science. All it takes is some common sense, the ability to READ and follow directions.

I say it all in people's faces. I had to learn a lot of things myself, and the same way I learned. You and the other newbies can learn. If you want something more advanced, I suggest you pay $ someone to teach you or provide the files you need.

Well said and pretty much true. iRohan has been around for just about 10 years. In that time, just about every question about hacking and pservers for that game has been asked and answered a dozen times. Devs are pretty much tired of repeating themselves like broken records. I am certainly one of them that have no patience anymore with folks that can't do at least a little bit research for themselves or expect us to be able to read their minds.
