Can I get banned for using a script editor on Roblox?

Hey friends, I am a new Roblox gamer and one fellow gamer suggested to me something called a script editor where I can run various cheats. It’s fun to use and I can manipulate many aspects of the game. But I have read online that it’s illegal on Roblox. I don’t understand why it can be illegal. Is it true? And how can Roblox find out if I am using some cheat code? Should I stop using it?

Yup! For 100% you can get a permanent ban on your account. Roblox has very strict policy about script editors since they are basically cheat programs and can manipulate a number of games including Adopt me.

If it’s illegal, how it’s allowed? I mean Roblox developers can’t just disable them all?

They are DLL injector programs and Roblox can’t just ban them because every month there is a new editor out there. That’s why Roblox made its stance very clear regarding use of Script editors.

Alright, i get it. I’ve read some articles that Roblox has deleted hundreds of accounts because they were using script editors. I don’t wanna get banned lol. Anyways it’s a shame that such fun thing is not allowed by Roblox.
