[TUT]launcher attack spd increase the easy way

subfolder data table

decrypt Item.edf into Item.dat

open Item.dat with HexEditor

text search for the launcher u want to increase the speed (maybe not change for all Launchers.. to have a weapon that doesnt look suspicious )

e.g Intense Hora Akeron Launcher

change A8 08 to 00 00

( my attack speed went from unsieged 0.33 up to 1.30 and sieged it went to 4.55 )


encrypt Item.dat to Item.edf.dat and rename to Item.edf and replace with ( backup ) ur Item.edf



cdreds to chowking202 whose post I got the idea from..

it´s quite easy.. even for a n00b like me


for other weapon types.. check the normal attack speed of ur weapon without armor. put that value in a hexeditor and search ur item.edf for that.


for ur understanding.. this is not setting a certain speed.. this is setting the delay of ur attack to 0.. to get increased weapon dmg u have to disable the animation of the attack.
search the forum for 10 X times attack dmg hack.

the difference is.. u dont need to run a programm while playing and it is permanent.

to bypass the launcher downloading the x.edf files I used multiclientpatcher

but i dont use this coz many races get shocked and reports me to the GM why i got so much atk spd...
coz i only use normal atk spd when doing PK.(got reported many times already....¬¬

For all ppl that would like to edit other weps.....

for every wep there is line like this

01 00 FF 01 FF 00 00 00 XX XX

the red signs here r the LvL and PT requirement
the blue signs r the atk speed.
there r allways 3 pairs of zeros between lvl/pt and atk speed.
edit the 4 blue signs to 00 00 and u´ll get higher atk speed.

allways use the basic ranger buffs(precision and speed load) with edited weps(launcher armor helps also)

seems like RF detected the file has been corrupted because the byte has been changed. i cant seem to bypass the file analyzer. any knows how?
