Epic 7: Joker

A German GM has just posted an interesting new detail about Epic 7.

um weiterer Verwirrung vorzubeugen, bestätige ich hiermit nochmal das der Joker mit dem Release von Epic VII erscheinen wird.

Was dieser dann für euch bereit hält ist jedoch eine andere Geschichte und wird ein anderes mal erzählt.

The only new pet is the Death Tyrant.

So the Joker can be a new item or a NPC

ok, somebody has posted the answer:

den joker erhält man, wenn ein versuch ein pet auf +5 zu enchanten fehl schlägt, wenn man ihn levelt, erhält er skills, die die chance auf verbesserung des pets (wenn man ihn beim nächsten pet mit in die kombi-box legt)m erhöhen, evtl. kann man mit ihm auch zerbrochene(ich meine damit karten, deren durability aufgebraucht ist) reparieren.

If you try to get a +5 pet and fail, will you get a joker.
The jokers gets some passive skills that will help you to combine pets.
And he write also something that a joker maybe can be used to repair broken pets.

.... maybe the only way to repair a karfunkel.

Hum... Not sure, because if this joker is just something to improve succes rate, why can you summon it?

I'm quite sure that the harlequin won't be released until epic7 part2 or 3 as since they don't even have their own skills set yet.

Yep, You're right, it's possible we get it on part 2 or 3...
But even if MGs dont say all we want know, it will be the first time they just lie about something coming in few days...

I think the joker don't get own skills!
It is not a full pet. It is just a "keep the players busy" pet. So they level it till its gets its passive skills and then it is used like a skill cube , so it increase the chance in one important dice roll.
And I bet the joker is gone after it.


My above info came from a forum from Thailand and they already have epic 7.

The "Joker" is actually called a Harlequin, it won't be out till like Epic 7: Part II, or maybe even Part III.

fail pet.you get one after you fail a pet on +5.

so if i attempt 2x Stage 4 pet there's a chance i might get it? even if it fails or succed?

Did anybody already know how it works with the Joker?
Do you have to place him within the combinations Window?
Or can you 'use' the Joker an unlimited amount of times? ( so, we may see soon a new kind of 'Pet pluss' Service )
