Bot/macro vs detection

I've searched if it's been discussed somewhere else and couldn't find anything on that matter. And this is my first post so bare with me if it does not belong here.

I was wondering if there was other ways for rappelz staff to prevent/detect botting/macroing beside Game Guard. (Beside the obvious "your bot is bugged")

And in the same idea, if anyone's aware if someone has already been banned for botting/macroing (US server).

tos says its only a temp ban unless u get caught 3 times i think and there is no other way really cept if u r reported, gms sparse on us servers, cant even get spammers under control and doesnt take any kind of hunt to find them

i was banned once for using a bot. but dont worry, there is no danger anymore. even if you report someone with clear evidence - the gm's just wont care.

Ive been using the Rappelz FarmBot Remeke bot forever on the US version. Have only 1 person catch on to what I was doing, he came a pked my a few times. But what did I care I found a new spot away from him and carried on. Ive been using it since it was released. Even when JT's Rappelz bot was out, I was using it, and have yet to have any issues.

Was it a perm ban or a temp ban?

One of my concerns is also that when you contact support for a reason or another, I think they ask you "What are your other accounts" probably because they have in their DBs accounts linked by IPs. I was wondering if it was worth it to make extra efforts not to mix a botting account IP with a non botting IP. (ban one, ban all)

i was using JT's Rappelz bot and got a permanent ban!!
just started bot... a message appeared: Gamehack detected = forever banned
it was about 1 year ago

Really, wow, bad luck I guess.

I've used every bot that ever came across this forum. Never had any issues with any of them. But I've been using sandboxie forever. Not sure if it helps.

The link below was the original thread I believe, I could be wrong. But there are other bots out there that work for this Epic 7.3, unless your playing and older epic on a private server.

Was it done 'on the spot' or did you try to login one day and realized your account was banned because of this?

I think they've updated their ToS for all their games now, and it only says that you agree not to use bots. They don't gently say what's the consequence.

But yeah, GMs probably have more urgent priorities nowadays, unfortunately for some.

I'm using Sandboxie on my W7 x64 (c# SendKey), and VMWare on my XP x86 (custom AutoIT script); haven't had any issues with GG, but I wonder if GMs have other means to detect it.

Running both rappelz and this in sandboxie does work quite well. GG not finding anything
