how can i change the design of the npcs?

hello elitepvperss,

is there a way to change the outfit of an npc .I tryd to change the weapon id clothes id and other from the database arcadia dbo.npcresource but theres no result it didnt changed please help me .

I have no yet attempted this, but if you have changed WEP/Hair/Face/Armor/Cape values on an NPC via their NPCResource record in and you (RESTARTED) yet nothing is affected--I doubt you can do it.

I will check on it when I have time.

thats coz i belive their looks are cleint sided to u could edit the db but i think the client needs the same db for it to display them.

that would be correct and btw heres a side note guys i pulled apart the epic3 client and as i expected theres no refrence to Astaroth / Forest Pixie / Wind Pixie / so aside from the db entrys its a dead end.
so for refrence to models and id's.....
id need an e1 or e2 open or closed beta client
as those contain the actual models at least i think e2 would since its seemingly impossable to find
i did find a torrent from 2006 but it had zero seeds

Since the DEV Team switched after 1/2 would the models be horridly stand-out-ish amongst the newer native models? Sorry if I've been down for a couple days, really needed some me time.

well i ve seen the models for the 2 pixies they look like a glowified siren with wings.
i wouldnt imagine they would be to bad...currently u can tell when they switched again even semi as the orginal concept for rappelz has changed 3 times now first it was aimed at owning pets and exploration then for yrs all they cared about was improving pvp and it seemed like thats all that mattered to them
now im not sure they keep adding all these deco pets and pets and items,costumes that really make the time frame rappelz was built after very confusing
so my answer is i dont think those pets would feel anymore out of place then the current models
there using in e7.3 by example it feels more like pokemon.
but all of this is irrelivant if i havent found an e1 or e2 client
