Im not to sure about Lua edits but thats what you would need to do...its alot more complex tho and kinda hard to do since it needs to show on the cleint to.

However if u simply wanna just use an exsisting npc and add items to it use Silentbill's npc modder.

But yea u need to edit the lua scripts when a adding exsisting game npcs...i mean u cant add a new npc i blieve without updating the client but u can use event npcs that are useless lol or somthing.

idk best bet is ask wisp if shes got time.

you would be correct in assuming its client side currently this is the only public way.
thnx to pyrok we have succeeded in doing the next step but there little chance how were actly doing this will be public anytime soon if at all

The need to show off must be all consuming. Why not just release the String Edit method? That would be too helpful -.-' I forgot.

Why not release all the changes that you guys have made? You post about all the updates you've done but then you talk **** when someone else posts what they've been working on. Unlike you, we do release most of our work.

Actually I have already been in discussions with my testing crew about creating a repack with all my updates. The fact is my work is near completion but not done as I am still ***** deep in the class re-balance, However you Client String Edit Method would provide a lot of stand alone improvements for people who DO want to release their work, like myself.

What edits, you mean the incredibly complex npc modifications?

in other words u want them to give out their hard work so u can finish urs and claim all the work was done by you.

Granted id be glad to see your work, tho id be reluctant to take it, i saw alot of ur class balances and tbh i didnt like all of them, however its a good idea in the long run.

And i do agree with pyro why brag about these changes and not contribute them to the community?

And pyro i can wait for the string editor coz atm id really love to fix and bugged items -.-

Unless you guys are willing to do it for us id be trully greatfull ty.

Also cant wait for it as means can finaly mod the client!!!!

You stil didnt answer us as to why u really dont contribute any fixes / changes u have made.

if you did the devs might like ya abit more, besides its not hard to edit the skill tables.

Stop, think and answer your own question. Why would I release a class re-balance when the skill tool-tips are not updated to reflect the changes made. What so people can slap in the changes and have no clue what's actually changed or so their users can go bumbling through skills that do not describe themselves correctly?

BTW: Lets see your skill edits, seeing as they are super easy and you don't have to make sure they don't give the class an advantage or disadvantage to others inherently.

Didnt say balencing is easy i only said editing skills is easy and if ur editing them how do uno if ur edits even work?

The string info should only be for new skills names as the dmg displays and cds are all varibles however cd changes might not show if its a name based string.

So really you not tackling any bug issues that ppl report or anything ur just playing around with skills.

If u did fix bugs why not realse them? Again back to the question i asked and u failed to answer properly.
