If his ISP went down then why should we be able to login to server select screen, that and the fact that allegedly he anounced in-game chat that he was raising lvl cap.
But if as people say he has got many problems trying to update the server, surely anyone with even the smallest amount of sense would have backed-up all the OLD data and just go back to that.

He definitely did anounce in game about the lvl cap. But he said he would run it on his pilot server or whatever so he could make sure it was fine, guess he didnt do well at that...
I like how no one has mentioned that the log in server is still up and running. Just the actual game server is down. Seems odd to me that he'll keep one up if he was indeed gonna take it all down..
