Server is nice but some changes would be important

E7 server is nicey, i like it quite much ^^ it gives the real feeling of old times, there are a few but's though. You cannot compare the population from retail to a private server, so a few modifications should be applied even more if you don't wanna have buff slaves accounts on your server.
- A buffer is needed (for people and their pets). Those lvl 3 buffs are a completly joke. Maybe deva blessings if you don't wanna go through the trouble of adding a NPC? Idk, just throwing in some ideas.
- A mov speed global buff should be added, we need to run from horizon to hv, then to dungeon/farm spots and some extra speed to save some time would be appreciated since apparently adding a dungeon teleport would be "****" mentioned by someone on your discord ^^
- A mp reg global buff should be added too. Not everyone can have the luck of having a priest in their parties and it wouldn't be fun at all that the whole server played priest class
- A modification to the filter needs to be done. Can't write CHEAP or MONEY without getting *****. They are obviously not insults !

If you want to kill PVP then add move speed buff....

Melee classes are already bad at PVP, you can make them even worst by giving people mov speed buff to run away faster.

Global mov speed means everyone will play mages.

What PVP ? Did you even try to turn pkon? PK is disabled on the server o_O

Oh damn, didn't know it's disabled.

I'm downloading the client right now so yeah I didn't try it yet. Was just giving a fact that exist in most pserver.

So if there is no PVP then I agree, extra mov speed would be very nice.

EDIT AFTER PLAYING

Now after I played it myself, I agree 100% with what other people said about buffs.

Rappelz was designed with buffs in mind.

Characters can't really do anything without having buffs.

I was playing at 2:00 am, so there were like 10 other players online. Non of them is around my level and non of them is a buff class.

So I can't party since there is no one to party with.

I basically couldn't do anything. I would've happily spend the entire night farming and enjoying the server... BUT THE GAME won't let me do that.

No buffs, I drop to 10% hp after killing 1 elite field mob.

I wanted to play Rappelz, but it wouldn't let me play. and I got stuck at level 40. And I went back to League Of Legends.

If you want the server to succeed you have to keep the new players interested.

Getting stuck at level 40 is not very fun.

In retail there are like +1000 players online at all time and you can walk to any city and find people buffing all over the place.

But for a private server with 30 players online, you need an NPC.

I understand you want the server to be kinda hardcore.

But the hardcore part should be the farming and grinding, not running in cities for 30 mins and hoping to find some nice guy to buff you.

Give us the tools so we can solo farm at first, and catch-up to other people so we can join the party.

I haven't had a chance to play on 7.X server yet, but I'm gonna play as soon as I get home. I'm really hyped! Some rumors kinda bug me, though. It seems like you are heavily party-reliant. I still hope that you are somehow able to solo decently like on previous 6.2 server. Being party-reliant kinda sucks, especially when very few people are online. Some of us may have really odd schedules and cannot afford to play at times, when the majority of players is present. It's no fun being forced to wait for a party to form since you can't really do much on your own. And it sometimes takes ages.

It seems they will just let it dry and die.

New players are not sticking around because they literally can't kill anything.

Right now NO ONE IS LEVEL 30-60.

There are only people who played from day one and reached high level together and they are still playing together. But for the rest of us that came late, we are screwed.

And every new player that I met in game gives up around level 20 and never comes back again.

RIP server.

it should be soloable until 150 , and people can go pk and tryhard mode after 150 , there is no point of low rates at private server , as soon as you cant get 500-1000+ onlines and 24 hours parties at every lvl gap

NPC class buffer will be soon deploy, with a difference by character lvl 50/75/100 with buff lvl 4/6/9. It will be better

I will add this functionality this evening in the actual NPC, and move it in a Special NPC buff this week-end.

Note to @: Making the NPC buffs pets too would be nice. They are so useless without buffs.
