now i have tryed what was stated here

but cant get it to work not even sure my sql server is running not even sure how to check but any way any one know what i can try

Please use the help thread for your questions...



You can check your server services by going into SQL server configuration manager in Configuration tools.

Same place you should have configured the server TCP/IP stuff and look at the server services section.
