So here iam, after a long break.
I've created an c++ based (secondary desktop)
With RappelzDesktopManager (RDM) you can create new 'desktops' while your main desktop is full of screens.
for instance, The background doesnt change. (maps etc will keep existing.)
but, you could make a tab called 'Database' and switch to database and open your database there, while on the other tab your server is running
(Unlimited tabs are enabled!)
As iam in a small amount of time to explain it all, (its quite easy tbh.) i would like someone else to take a look onto it and tell along others how it work.
here's a quick startup tho :
1. Does this work with windows 8?
Yes, it does, but make sure u make a folder on ur desktop with neccasary tools in it, becouse 'metro' is not supported. (oh and u may rightclick ur desktop and press 'Refresh' to see icons popping up.
2. Does this work with windows 7?
Yes, its created for windows 7/NT/XP.
3.Does it support server-windows?
Yes it does.
How does it work? :
Once you clicked the .exe in the .zip you see an icon appearing in your taskbar.
you can rightclick it, and you see an menu.
Confirm desktop switch,
manage desktops,
Launch applications,
About..
Exit.
If you want to add an new desktop, simply press manage desktop.
write in a desktop name, and press add. (press yes) to confirm.
Note: You may find 'winlogon' this is your windows NT-kernel since this is used with the SAM-Database it was neccasary for me to protect it, so whatever is trying to connect to it will cause the program to a crash(instant).
-> the file is compressed, for those who wanted to edited things it's been disabled this way, since its a complex program.
