[HELP] Connect Server

Hello everyone.

I created my server Rappelz of the time and am having problems connecting

I restored all DBs - and set up the server.

When I try to enter the game he did not leave the screen List of server ..



I click numerous times over anyway not enter ..

I used the codes and start_service set.game.open_external 1 Normally, but not out of the screen list



Can someone help me?

Are you sure you are entering the commands correctly. You need to enter them in the auth window?

start_service (then press enter)

You should get two lines of text telling you the service started properly.

Still typing into the auth window...

set game.open_external 1 (then press enter)

You will not see verification text but your server should accept clients now.

I can only imagine that there is something wrong in your .opt and .eop files then.

Or your sframe arguments.

If the entrance commands have not been entered correctly (start_service/set game.open_external 1) you will receive a "Cannot Connect To Login Server" error. IF you are using an improper SFRAME.exe the GS will disconnect you on attempting to SELECT THE SERVER.

This seems like it might be a port issue, but then again you would receive a garbage text error if it were. I would double check your opt configurations for your Auth/Game Server. Triple check that all the ports are open properly and try again.

I have fat fingered and mistyped set game.open_external 1 before and gotten the same thing he is getting.

As long as start_service is correct you will not get "cannot connect to log in server" messages at log in.

If he really has typed them correctly though I agree and think it may be an opt issue or port issue.
