Msql won't let me create a user for telecaster/auth/arcadia ? Is that it?
i created a username for Security but cannot for the 3 database's

You need to set the user you created as the database owner...

Step 4 last three bullets.

That is the same user you will write in to your opt files using the des hash tool to write in the passwords.

Then compress the opt files.

I can't properly restore the databases even thouhg I am linking them to the .bak files located on my C/: drive when I go to restore the databases it fails and tells me Backup log can not be preformed beause there is no current database. any hints? this happens when I try to restor telecaster, arcadia, and auth

Do not restore a database that does not exist yet with the "Tail_log back up before restore" option

Make sure you use the "Overwrite existing database with replace" option

On the left you see where it says options.

When you start a restore after selecting the .bak file, click on that options link

On the options page the top box will say "Overwrite existing database with replace" make sure you tick that box.

Around the middle of the page you will see another box for "Take a tail_log back up before restore"

Make sure that box is not checked.

It's working fine on Windows 7, you just need 64bit.

i do have 64 it says you need service pack 1
and i downloaded SP1.. so?
