[Release] HTML-Based Launcher

Heya,

Since I got bored this morning, I thaught about creating a similar Launcher like the retail one (also I wanted to test around how they were able to start the game with an html-function <.<).

So well. First of all, I'm going to explain how you gonna edit the Website + Launcher-Arguments:

First of all, we need .
After you installed it, rightclick on the .exe and click on "Open using Resource Hacker".
Now on the left side select "String Table". It should looks like this:


Here you can change the settings:
The first one is the HTML/PHP/ASPX-Page from your site.
The second one are the Start-Arguments of your Client
The 3rd one is the Char-Set (needed for RappelzConfig.exe).
The 4th one is the Width of the Launcher, so the last one is the Height of the Launcher.

Well, now you just have to configure your Website for it.
You have to create Links/Buttons which navigate to this:

action://LAUNCH/ -> Start the Game
action://CONFIG/ -> Start RappelzConfig.exe
action://DESTROY/ -> Close the Window
action://MINIMIZE/ -> Minimize the window

An example would be:

Looks good. HTML Launching, honestly never thought of it this way. Will be good for up and coming servers. But you know people will be all "CAN'T USE MEN Y?"

Well, basically it couldn't be easier (ok, yes, I could create something like the NCarbon-Launcher, but I was too lazy for that), if they can't get it running, well... *cough*

I hope you have done what i tell to do for next release to Raskim. If you did that i love you !!!! =D

Moreover is look good maybe i don't tested it =P

Br: sorry for message on skype as i can see your release have many bugs and now every leecher are ****** because they move to 7.4 without done backup and now their server are down or busy =D all my aphologize we work for the same things and you know that
