theres a reason it wasnt released. it was to keep public cs servers from poping up all over. causing gnet to notice and pulling dev teams in to the spot lite.
i guess in a way you kinda f^cked us so.... im not entirly sure if a nother public release should even be put on here.
im not the voice of the team only 1 opinion i wanted to see server complete before this was released so if they did come after people at least its complete files that wouldnt need fixed if that happens now production wont get stopped it will just go underground and no one here will probly ever see it. prey that doesnt happen and use common sense before u post stuff like that plz
It's just a command to tell the server to stop writing a log I guess, I doubt this will completely screw your project, there are enough bugs that cannot be fixed with a simple command. It's also not pulling attention to your dev team really, it's merely pulling attention to this community. NFlavor knows nothing 'bout you, how would they stop you from doing what you are doing now?
Besides, I can finally use a lootpet AND spam skills - yay!

well the main reason they was worried about it is the fact it kills buy, sell, trade, skill, drop lag
what this command was actly for was when offical was in maintence thy used this command to debug when applying patches this simply turned it off.
i see your point and i hope your correct in your optimisim

Oh wait, that's the thing that created the ~1Gb files after each session? lol -.-
You seem to know quite a lot, I wish you best luck for your project
The log setting posted has nothing to do with the log files. On the official servers there's a separate server that just logs every transaction from all the game servers. When gala mentions checking the logs that is what they are referring to. That server wasn't amongst the leaked files (along with the patch server). The setting released just tells the game server to not send those log packets out.
The fix being released isn't a huge deal unless you consider the fact that the person who discovered it didn't want it released. The reason they didn't doesn't matter, it's the fact that some people can't respect other people's wishes that matters.

Oh, so it tried to send that information to the log server, but didnt get a response and had to wait for the timeout?
Stop people from hitting multiple stakes in TG/Stop weapon skill 12/06/2007 - CO2 Exploits, Hacks & Tools - 21 Replies Let me start off by saying this is a pretty dirty trick! But if you really don't like someone you can stop them from getting their max exp in TG.
Explained: When someone uses a club/wand/FOH/etc in TG, it hits multiple stakes. You can make it so it doesn't hit a certain stake(s). This is easiest achieved by using the #alone feature in proxy.
Use the #alone feature and stack on top of the stake you wish for the person not to hit. That's it! Their skill isn't hitting the stake(s) for some...
