I bought HypeX a couple months ago and tried it out but I didn't like it, but I wanna try it again. I haven't been able to find anyone talking about it so is it a virus or detected now?

No idea about the detection, but generally if u wanna cheat and be safe (can never be 100% sure with anyone) use the cheat on a clean windows reinstall on a diff disk/partition if u can.
It's still not 100%, but saves a lot from minor viruses and getting all ur info stolen. Please be careful.
And if it turns out to be detected, I would love to help out getting u unbanned with Void chief, no worries at all

It's not a virus if you get it off directly from their legit website, mate.

So many new people ask about cheats being viruses, that I wrote a little message that explains it in detail:
Cheats, particularly those for online games, often use "injection" to modify gameplay by inserting code into a game's memory while it runs. This technique, while common in cheat development, resembles behavior seen in viruses and malware, triggering antivirus detection. However, cheats themselves are not harmful software. They're designed to enhance gaming experiences, not compromise security. Skilled programmers create cheats, adhering to ethical standards and prioritizing user safety. Despite this, cheats can still be flagged by antivirus software due to behavioral similarities with malware. Cheat developers mitigate false positives by obfuscating code or using digital signatures. In essence, cheats aren't viruses; they're tools crafted to improve gameplay. We would not be making any additional profit by inserting malicious code into the software, instead just destroying our reputation for no benefit whatsoever. Understanding this allows users to enjoy enhanced gaming experiences without undue concern for security.

its a false positive. its normal for cheese to be detected as a virus. Since they have to find ways to not get detected by anticheats. This applies to all not just HypeX. As long as you trust the provider it should be safe.
Just be aware and avoid mixing gaming stuff with your important files. So incase they are ratted, you wont regret anything

I understand what a false positive is, I know many cheats get false positives, but I just wanted to make sure that it was a reputable cheat.
