I would like to hear the opinions of experienced players and developers.
Cheat detection usually works by identifying software that accesses memory in the background.
However, it can also rely on gameplay behavior. For example, if someone consistently hits only headshots, they will eventually get banned because it's impossible to always hit the head. Even skilled players don't always get headshots.
But if someone uses DMA hardware, the detection of software remains hidden—provided they use a good firmware.
Aimbots can be detected based on targeting accuracy or unnatural mouse movements.
But what about wallhacks?
If someone doesn’t use an aimbot in this case, how can the anti-cheat detect a cheater who only uses wallhacks?
What factors are taken into consideration?
In this case, there’s no targeting accuracy involved.
I’m just asking out of curiosity.
