Banning [iRO]

Can you get IP banned for doing clientless bots? If so, has anyone been banned recently for it?

Also, if my accounts are linked together via warportal, and if I get banned, do all the other accounts become banned/inaccessible? E.g. account 1 RK, account 2 Warlock, account 3 Sura; RK gets banned, then the other 2 accounts do as well.

My brother get banned for botting with Openkore.
Only his account has been banned , not the IP.

IP ban is bullshit. Restart your router = new IP = profit?

Doch natürlich bringt das was.

Was natürlich schwachsinn ist...

Great my thread turned into a language I do not understand. So if you restart your router your IP then permanently changes to a different one until you restart it? Or would I have to keep restarting it each time?

In the past I had a character account banned to some absurd date for doing clientless botting at Magmarings. I was just wondering if they do ever IP for it because my brother plays this game a lot and has a lot invested into it so if I was IP banned then he also would not be able to play.

Oh sorry i try to explain in english. Normally you get a new ip until you restarted your router. But there is another way to ban tehy are able to ban your MAC adress the MAC adress is fix installed on your network device if they are banning your MAC Device you have to buy and install a ne Network device.

Please excuse my bad english i´m german.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up. So do they actually ban people by mac address? Or are you just saying that it's just a possibility?

This is a possibility but in my active RO time I have never heard about a mac ban.
The admins think the lost of your account is punishment enough. Anyway, if you get an IP ban and don't have a static IP, it is no problem to restart your router and create a new account after this. The problem you have, you have to start from scratch.

So if they implemented an IP ban they would ban the account with it as well most likely? Which means just the account which was botting or any linked accounts?

My main concern is this; if I create a new account that is not linked to my brothers and bot with it will there be any repercussions for my brother since we use the same computer?

lol i just oriented myself on the main language of the topic...
nvm

There are different types of ban.
mac address bans are easy to avoid but do not happen on official servers, and just on some pservers.
IP adress bans in general are useless, but also your account is banned, thats the problem. You can change your IP easily by restarting your router, but that wont change your banned acc. status.

And of course there are linked acc bans, but that highly depends on server and admin/GM that catches you.
That means that all accs that are connected to your IP in any way (you traded with another of your accs, dropped items and another acc looted them and so on) will be banned. (which is the hardest method, cuz it can destroy for example all the work you put into 10 accs or so).

In a normal case, if you bot and your bro played at the same time / with the same IP. 97% chance you both get banned.

Hey im pretty new to this AgBot program and such and i was wondering, how many of you guys have used AgBot (in the way where you only occasionally use it to level up from here to there) and HAVE been banned? Cause i've bought about 15 dollars worth of silk and i hear that having silk reduces chances of ban... idk, strange rumor i suppose. Anyways, please be logical when you tell me if you have been banned or not. I mean like... if you used AgBot for like gold farming or something like that,...
