How to target

Hello,
iam writing my own bot with Delphi, got it do autosearch im Mem und make a list of the mobs which in my area and so on, but i noticed which is written in many threads , that passing mob ID in the memory to the current target pointer, doesnt work (skill invalid and so on). Is the only way to get the ASM code for Attack mob and pass Mob ID to this function through a remote thread? or is there any other way just throught pointers/offsets. (playing PW-MS).

same as above, need a way for proper autotargetting that allows attacking using spells/skills or normal attack.

that is the one thing I'd like to have working more than other things, not that I would mind if the others are working too though

please let me know if anyone found a way

Going off topic here I'm afraid, my apologies for that but it has to be said.
This is not directed to you wongfei888, or other people that posted in this topic, just a general "outburst" for majority.

Getting somewhat tired of answering PMs with same message over and over again, so I'm posting this here for everyone to see and hopefully move things along a little bit faster.

Reason why I'm reluctant to post anything in public forums, is that it's full of lazy ass lechers that do nothing but whine and cry "gimme gimme gimme", in most cases in broken english that can hardly be understood.
Not talking about people who aren't native English speakers, but rather things like "gif hax plx". Believe me, I have no intentions on debugging your post before I can read it. If you can't put in the effort to produce coherent sentences than I do not have time for you. You need to understand that that kind of approach is very disrespectful to people you are asking help from.

And in the end, what is the point?
If you can hardly be bothered to produce mangled posts that took you no longer than 10 seconds to write, you aren't very likely to ever learn anything.
If only 20% of forum visitors actually took the time and learned something, then perhaps there wouldn't be 80% of cry topics that serve no other purpose than spamming and clogging forums.

Having said that, I'm not posting anything in private either unless I see some evidence that a person contacting me is putting in the effort and might in fact learn something.

Here are some guidelines to observe, before you PM me for anything:
1. History: Upon receiving your request, I check your posts to see if YOU ever provided any help to the community. The way your posts are formed also reveals a lot about you as a person.
2. Purpose: I examine what the purpose for your request is.
3. Benefit: I try to deduce if you have any potential to at some point give something back to community, because you will learn and progress (assuming that you haven't already posted useful posts as per nb. 1).

It would also be nice if you provide some evidence of your work so far, it shows that you are trying and not just begging.


Your request of targeting (as well as other things one can do)...
Believe it or not, ALL you need has already been posted on this forums. ALL of it. It is going to be a bitch finding it due to all pointless begging posts, but again, if you are willing to put in the effort, you will find it.

There were people with knowledge and willingness to help here, perhaps some still are. They put a lot of work to create constructive and helpful topics that others then clogged out of control instead of taking at least half the time to read and understand them, that it took the authors to write it.
But no, it's so much simple to just click "Reply" isn't it. Sad.

Russian topic was superb, but people had a real need to keep posting "I don't speak Russian" instead of taking a fraction of that time to pass it all trough google translate.
Similar to topics regarding injection and offsets.. offsets don't work, version changed. We got it. No need to repost same thing 10 times on every page you wankers. Also it wouldn't kill you to post your PW version either, most of us aren't telepathic.
Tutorial on finding offsets.. one guy actually wrote it's out of date!!! How in the blue wonder can it be out of date? It's a bloody tutorial, not an offset listing. TAKE THE TIME TO READ IT. You know, that thing you learned last year in first grade!
And so on...

As you are fighting your way trough all the whining you will hopefully realize the point and reasoning behind this post.
We have all once been where you are now, but instead of posting for help, some of us actually took the time to read all of the posts on PW subject in case solution has already been posted.

Being optimistic, I am now waiting for PMs that are more than just a mangled mess of seemingly random characters.
