HowTo: save Game CPU usage (in any game)

Simple but working, will cause a significant decrease of CPU usage of the game
- Set resolution to as low as possible(yes, you already knew this I know)
- Set graphics to as low as possible(yes, ...)
- Enable V-Synch in the graphics options(What, enable? Are you serious?)

Most people don't know what V-Synch does. To keep it short and easy: depending on your graphics card and display, there is a very big chance that it will limit the Frames per Second in the game to (probably) 60, which causes it to use less CPU usage.
In rare cases it might not win you any performance, but there is no way that it will cost more cpu power than without V-Synch.

Try it out, V-Synch is really powerful when it comes to multiclients.

Lol, I never get past 20 FPS anyway, however many clients I run Don't think vsynch is for me, thanks for the tips though

maybe ur pc is way to old ?

yeah, my pc is rather old, it can only run up to 6 clients. If they made their graphics abuse my CPU more instead of my gfx card I could prolly get a bit more FPS I think when running a single client, but as it is I'm glad if I manage over 10 FPS in archosaur on minimal settings.

Funnily enough I can run GW2 on max settings with no issues, yet DIII is choppy even on minimum in certain areas.

A lower resolution just means lower gpu load and it could even be a higher cpu load in some games. It depends on the game though.
