I have been looking for 1 also from time to time playing on official servers is 200% P2W and its not really enjoyable.
Things you can find online:
There was a private server back in 2008.
There was a private server in 2011.
2 guys made a private server in 2012 but quit
around 2014 1 guy was able to create most of the basic stuff for a private server but quit
I would love to help creating a Private Server for Angels Online but we need atleast 1 guy that knows how to set up the basics like:
Stopping update on client
Connecting for our own server
creating a login server with database for accounts and characters
creating a world server to spawn all the maps and npc/s mob's start working on systems hp attack casting spells and so on
