i dont even think first they can sue u because they would sue many server that does long time they run.or other company would sue Wow pserver maplestory etc...
so bad see the best server go off

well the pserver i played wow in, has constant ~1500 people online, rates are 1.5x and they received 2 letters from blizzard, but blizzard cannot sue them, because they are using open source server files, written not by blizzard staff.

why don't you guys just use sokme google and read some stuff abour legal/copyrights?
the wow or maplestory server arround are not server which are running the official serverfiles!
As soon as you code an Emulator (just program the serverfiles by yourself), you'll have no problems at all running the server!
nobody can sue you for using an emulator as server application.
But as i already mentioned somewhere else.
i'l release the work me and zikki had to public, and perhaps then there will be someone else willing to go on with this server.

so i don't think, there would be any other good low-rate dekaron pserver... so maybe anyone could suggest me a new game?
played:
Diablo2: LoD (Awesome)
World of Warcaft (good one too)
Rappelz (too little items, did not liked very much)
Requiem: Bloodmary (too much grinding without premium account)
Runes of Magic (WoW clone, lots of bugs)
Rohan
i would like that game had lot's of items (RANDOM stats would be cool), would be free2play or free pserver

(14.01.09) All news/changes will be announced at our Website and forum.
(12.01.09) Server is up again and it's "gm-hack proofed" so i don't think anybody like..*cough*our dearest sweetheart*cough* won't be able to hack the server anymore (just the usual leaked csv method) it's 5AM here in germany and i need to "get up" in 1 hour..
pity for the time i spent doing this.. but hey.. i learned a lot of stuff regarding sql. looks like MasterShouter is some kind of useful after all ;)...
