That's not how scanners work. Most scanners don't give a **** about the .rar file itself. A .rar is purely compressed files. It is basically a folder, just smaller. Virus scanners scan the files inside the .rar, just like they would scan the files inside a folder. The extension of the file has nothing to do with it being a trojan or not.
