Hi all,
After some communication, I'm editing out my original post given I'm working directly with the vendor offline to resolve a verification issue that caused delivery delay. I've been informed it was something on my end that caused the matter.
Obviously everything is a balance of cost, speed and safety, and I appreciate the latter most when assessing or using a product. In the meantime, I have been promised (and will soon receive) a refund.
I will keep everyone posted if anything changes!
