I have no idea, someone with knowledge of coding needs to reverse the files off of that IP and remake the server. The person who's already done it doesn't want to release it to the public.
SDM, I don't recommend trying to 'steal' that server client from the creator, if that's what you meant. I happen to know him, and he's quite an accomplished hacker (and I'm not talking about Planetside hacking).
Wow SDM lol. I was actually replying and being nice to you on markovforums :x Now you're banned.
Also :P my webserver (You know, professional hosting) has nothing to do with CSP; don't bother, I would never put anything that volatile on the open web. The CSP code has never left my local LAN, ever.
I wasn't planning on stealing code from you (to redboomer), I was just showing through Secant's amazing example video that it is VERY possible. Don't see why you decided to go and ban me, just wanted to show the folks over here what you've done to see if they've got any ideas themselves. I also said in my message that I was sorry for bothering you and implied that if you wanted to stop talking about your project we could. BTW, that's not Secant's server that's SoE's server "Emerald". I don't plan on stealing anything I was just hoping someone might know what they were doing and would take their own private PS server public. Sorry for hoping.
<hr>Append on May 31 2007, 04:28<hr> Oh and BTW, I never at any point said to hack Secant's server, I'd suggesting googling that IP address before you accuse me of anything.
Get on it, packetsniff 199.108.204.34 and get that server out.
wow this thread delivers!
get that server out? rofl
you should've seen from the video that it was on a local lan server, ofc he could've faked it but then again: packet sniff? lol yes, thank gawd the internet is one big unswitched hub
Quote:
how to connect with that server?
still giggeling at you hooker, using same nickname ingame and on these forums = the pwn
@ topic:
don't even bother secant has already stated his goals and they are not going to involve a ps server.
It's obvious by the IP address on the in-game ad. I don't get what you guys don't understand about what I said. Check what that IP address is! I was saying it's very possible and anyone with the time to reverse engineer the Planetside Server code might want to try it. That's Emerald's Server IP, seriously. Stop accusing me of something when you can't read. Packetsniff Emerald's server and reverse engineer the server code. I don't want to sound hostile, but can you not read?
<hr>Append on May 31 2007, 19:16<hr> "199.108.204.34" is the IP I posted, of Emerald
"208.109.26.67" Secant's IP address
tbh, stop being cocky and try reading furreal
=3
<hr>Append on May 31 2007, 19:21<hr> Oh and in TCP\IP all packets go somewhere, regardless of an unswitched router.

oh i c what you meant now... maybe try to phrase it more clearly the next time
then again, I hardly believe packetsniffing will do the job... hooking and REing the send method will yield more success, but then again wth do I know ps:
