well we got a friendly visit from CSR enrico today. he spawned in the middle of battle, and taunted everyone to try and kill him. we did a couple times, but the guy has like a million hitpoints. soon after he had us meet him in sanc for a little Q & A. i thought i would take a moment to share.
it seems enrico came armed with oodles of teasers of new info. while a couple were curious about the new, no one honestly cared. sorry. the player base had two, and only two real major concerns to bring to enricos attention.
1) what would be done about the rediculous amounts of cheating going on in the game, specificaly by one certain notorius outfit, the trx.
...and
2) COULD YOU PLEASE TURN DOWN THE VOLUME OF THE FREAKIN WENDYS COMMERCIAL.
all enrico had to say about #1 was that the hackers were hacking their client and not the server, to which we all basicly had to wonder..."so whats your point". hacking is hacking and we want it stopped. his response was that tweaks were made to the code each build, and that accounts are often banned. of course the hackers in question are still around as always, so of course we were still left with basicly a big fat nothing.
i personally suggested going after the players who are known to abuse and not worry about the code so much. you can tweak the code everyday and not get rid of the problem. get rid of the problem and you wont have a need to tweak the code anymore, thats my theory. but i guess enrico wouldnt really know who those players are, or anything else wrong with the game or else....
