Is planetside still populated?

Hi guys i just wanted to ask is there a reasonable amount of people still playing planetside to get decent battles/fights etc? i used to play this game up until a couple of years ago, was thinking of going back but didnt want to pay for subscription again to find it deserted. Thanks for any responses.

Hiya slug,

Ya lots of people still play, the 2 American Servers Emerald and Markov had a server merge a couple of months ago, The new server is called "Gemini" that helped alot with the population, and most people left Werner and went to Gemini (Including me), so it's pretty much all 3 servers rolled into one There are often Cont Locks (which means the continent is too full to allow more people)

it's still alot of fun, you should come back!
