Let's use this thread for asking random questions about PW, be it about anything in the game, hacks or else, just for any short random question and not necessarily need a long discussion.

I have a few random questions I'd like to ask btw

1. Does anyone know how attack stat in weapons affect the damage output in char stat (using 'C' shortcut) ? I bought a true bow mastery book lately.
A lv 10 true bow mastery will add 60% AR's weapon damage, while lv 11 will add another 15% and from heaven/hell will have another extra 15%, so in total it should have 30%, but turns out the damage output in char stat is only increased by around 500-700

my Archer's atk in char stats before true bow mastery = 8712-11955, after true bow mastery = 9224-12657 (both with no Barb/WB buff), how come the increase is only 512-702 for a 30% increase. It's very infuriating, especially because I bought it at a very expensive price. How does the game calculate the 30% said extra damage, 512-702 doesn't seem as bigger by 30% to me

2. How much is a Mirage Stone in gold (stone for refining equipments, it's called Immortal Stone in PW Indo) on your server ? just curious.

Does anyone know a letter/character probably in unicode that's really shown as a SPACE (blank) in Player Name or Guild Name ?

isn't 0x20 usually a space?

how do you type that in the game, to use it for making a char name or guild name, is it listed in windows' charmap ? could you paste the character here so it can be copy-pasted to the game ?

because someone ever whispered to me and the nick is like "Gold Fish" (without quotes, but with space in between words) , when I tried to whisper back, I couldn't, tried to copy his name and manually whispered back with /nick command also wouldn't work

Hmm, I thought space wasn't allowed in names. You can try ASCII(0xFF) with alt+255 If I try typing it here, it shows up as blank, but once i post it shows up as *

yea, space is not allowed, I think some ppl managed to find and use other character that's shown as empty space, I tried that alt-255 already and it doesn't work in the game, but thanks anyway. I'll just try and check every character in charmap that might do that.

Oh right, dunno then, I don't really know why people insist on using hard to type names .

lol I agree, unless it's for naming chars specifically for farming, so it'd be harder to report

any tips on how to increase the chance of gold/yellow item drops from bosses on dusk palace / hall of dusk ? xD

i know its random but maybe there are ways to increase it.. or technique.

I don't think so, drop rate is calculated by server, check pwdatabase, there is an explanation about drop rate in pw

if looking for specific gold dusk palace mats, for yourself or for sale, I think it's better to skip other time consuming bosses unless it's a must-2-kill. I ever tried aiming for Hindisght of the Dynasty only and kill that specific one boss in 3-2, managed to get one everyday for one week until I get bored lol.

how do you take characters out from the game? be it npcs or player characters. how can you get the 3d models out from the game?

TOTAL newbie... where can I go for a newbie faq or the like on PW bots, which bots do what, how to install them etc... All the current posts that I have looked at are WAY above my head. I would like to learn and understand though!
