i can ping the server, and have succesfully registred an account on it...

I edited the serverlist.txt too, to have "localserver 29000:192.168.2.50 11"

On the change server screen, the server appears with "--" for ping

Same happens to me. Server is started, client updated to 1.3.1, and pings succesful

but when i try to play, game don't see the server.

May be something about in what port it connects?

well im new on vmare...and linux.. so i dl all from here but

where a all this from:

This release on Image created on VMware Workstation 6.5.1 which has the following installed..

* Java 1.6.0_12 JDK
* Lampp 1.6.8a (which has Apache 2 and MySql 5 installed)
* Perfect World Server files 1.3.6 (version changed to 131 to use on 131 clients)
* Jakarta tomcat 5.5.9 (im sure this works as its accessable with http:/192.168.0.51:8080) but iweb doesn't function correctly
* SSH & OpenSSH server (so you can access the server using putty and WinSCP for ease of use)

cant realy find it or must i search all from google

**maybe need one in all file .. so install all in one way...

soo.. after some digging.. I found out that Insane007 or whatever is just a leecher and trying to do .. well i dont know what.. take credit or something.. anyways.. the thread you want to look at is here: it has the original post

Hi Everyone, I got the server working perfectly but the CLient doesnt seem to work properly. Server started, I registered user no probs.
Dowloaded Client and installed as per instructions and when I log in, I cant see my actual character or the mobs I just get a floating weapon. I think it's a problem with my client. It's running on vmware on fresh install of windows XP.

anyone have any ideas?

hello elitepvpers. i managed to get the private server up.
however i have some queries & errors :/

the server is up but i cannot access the registration page.
( not even 127.0.0.1 )
is there a solution to this?

secondly, is there a way to create accounts without the registration page?
