How do hwid bans work in ow2

new to cheating in ow2, how do hwid bans work? If I get banned once do I have to spoof or am I safe?

pretty sure you are safe, unless you've been banned on multiple accounts theres an anti flag overwatch thing.

OW has been one of the few games that have never really cared much about hwid bans.
I myself must have been banned at least 100+ times, never had any hwid ban.

Most of the good providers provide a spoofer now anyways...

It is quite random tbh, some people get flagged after a few bans and some after hundreds.
Always better to be on the safe side and have a permanent spoofer.
