Well starting this poll to see who agrees with me

I am thinking that speaking your mind (also known as flaming) is a beneficial part of a strong game exploiting society.
I see negative thinking/arguing/criticizing as a form of filter that takes a community like this one and pounds the **** out of it, thus the weak run and the strong remain... and thrive.
I want the lazy people on the forum that don't do anything, don't learn anything, and don't help anyone GONE. I want them running out of here as fast as the moment it took them to write "Game Hacks" in Google and stumbled onto this forum.

This poll is nothing official nor decisive, it is only to see the result and see if I can get my idea through to logical thinking minds.

yes what gentlemen jack says is the same view that I have
but then look
in the Dekaron section of Epvp "no flaming" is one of the rules and u can get an infraction for it.

and then the problem is that the mods have an interpretation of what they consider flaming and it can be very different from what many users consider flaming.

so then look at this thread that i started for this reason
and look at the reason why it was closed. (the final post)


as you can see kakkarot (the mod) closed it just because he "thought" it was "turning" into a flame war.

thus I think no flaming should be removed from the rules in the Dekaron section. either removed or modified to "no insulting/threatening" which is more specific and more verifiable.

Just did a quick read through the thread and seems like everyones against you. In my opinion your right about the newcomers asking about hacks etc but it cant be helped. (most of the percentage that would be begging for hacks are underaged kids that wouldnt learn how to do it themselves and just want to be spoonfed.)

Maybe the reason why kakkarot closed the thread is because the tension between TheConArtist & you was getting abit aggressive.

Cause you we're in dekaron section. No amount of discussion there about this problem would lead anywhere except obvious flame war between one side and the other.

its not obvious and its not for you to decide where the future is going to go.

What happened with my first poll is the PERFECT example of what I'm saying should be allowed.
You just said "between one side and the other" right, a fight between one and the other should be allowed. In the end the side that reigns supreme is the the one that should be listened to. THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF MY ARGUMENT.
you misused your power to negate the exact opinion of (mods should not misuse power) with the "no flaming rule"

Once again, your thread was in dekaron section however has nothing to do with dekaron.
I know you're smart and you like to tell everyone what is and how it has to be done. But there is a reason why I'm the mod and you're not. And when I said "approved" I meant approved officially, wining a poll is not being approved officially. It's official when Admin comes here and says "6Drako9 yes you're allowed to flame the members of this forum, they are only the whole point of this forum."

If every member that arrives would be super smart, that knows every single rule, then there would be no need for a mod.

Oh yes and I do admit I'm the one against it, I'll do my best to get this dropped.
