Hey buddy, I don't speak German but I am guessing you are going to London for few weeks? I am in London pretty much every week so I can recommend you few places. My suggestions might be biased but it's up to you at the end ;P
Where can you eat well?
I'd suggest Camden Market or China Town. Me being Asian, I always crave the cuisines from back home so my first Underground stop is in China town but when I am with my friends, we always go to Camden Market. There are a huge variety of restaurants, no McDonalds or KFC, just proper good food for good prices in my opinion so do check it out!
Shopping areas?
Everywhere you go in London, there are amazing stores! Again, Camden Market can be a choice. The market is full of youthful vibes and there are market stalls in literally every corner of the place. Other choices could be Oxford Street if you have money to burn or go to Westfield Stratford Shopping centre. Westfield is kind of far away from the centre of London but it is within 30-40 minutes range. Westfield literally has all of the UK's top stores so it could be worth it
What to see in London?
I am in London mainly to meet my friends in their local university and go out to get drunk but really depends if you want to see the famous landmarks such as the London bridge, the London eye or the Buckingham Palace. I have been to London many times so I have literally no interest but all of the famous landmarks are within walking distance. You can visit the football stadiums of Arsenal, Chelsea or even Wembley if you are interested in football. I'd also advise you to get a "Day Travelcard for for Zone 1-4" if you are to travel around London quite frequently for a day, it is a day pass for all the transports in London including buses, underground tubes, DLR and so on.
