What's happening to elitepvpers.. disappointing.

Hello guys,

I am just making this thread to get this off my chest.
I have been active since 2010 on Elitepvpers, mainly in the trading sections.
Elitepvpers has always been my best option to trade on, it felt safe and a lot more professional than the other trading sites (like OC or Sythe).

Of course when trading on here, you always have to be careful of scammers.
They come and go, but they used to be dealt with fairly quickly.
Also TBM boosting has always been a problem. Especially in the LoL section.
People would use the TBM section for vouch games, to boost their TBM.

Lately I have been browsing the Overwatch trading section on a daily, maybe even hourly, basis. And the things that are happening over there, are just shocking me.

There is an user that is obviously exchaning TBM's and fake positive reviews.
In his thread there are lots of new people warning or complaining about them getting scammed, but EVERY slightly negative post gets removed by the mods.

I understand there are rules, but currently the mods are facilitating this scammer's scheme by doing this, and letting him get away with more of it.
Elitepvpers is really shooting themselves in the foot by keep doing the way things are being done things the way they are now.
People will lose respect for the site.

Instead of deleting people's warning posts on threads, and forcing people to make an insanely solid case against scammers, they need to actively go after scammers.
The only thing mods (at least in the OW section) are doing, is check it 1 or 2 times per day, delete EVERY slightly negative comment without thinking, and go back to whatever they are doing. If ALL these people are posting negative feedback, shouldn't it come up to these mods, that MAYBE, just MAYBE the user is indeed a scammer, and that they should maybe look into it.

A couple days ago I made a 1500+ words long thread in the complaint area with loads of evidence of everything, and not even a SINGLE response.

I personally haven't been scammed by the user I am talking about, but I am just passionate about fair trading.
And it just hurts me to see scammers getting a free pass here on elitepvpers, a forum that I love after spending years on here.

I just needed to get this off my chest..

Let me give you an example of how it looks like, is this supposed to be normal? (it's from 2 page short thread!!!)

When I started with EPVP in 2011 there were also a lot scammers.
I don´t think that this has increased over the time.

Mods didn't remove comments like they do now back then.
And I remember staff being more active if it comes to punishing rule breakers/scammers.

It's nothing new that e*pvp is known for being a scammer Fest.

There are always scammers. When i was a moderator in black market, i just tryed to solve such things in a good way. You just need to understand that there are many fake feedbacks out there. It could also be, that the user never scammed you and you want to ruin him with your comments.

And then would people complain about other users who accuse them for scamming which would harm her business
you can't make it right for everyone

we also changed our policy a bit for this case, everyone at the trading area can now see deleted posts
if you encounter someone if dozen of deleted messages in this topic, you probably should be careful

Moderators have only limited power (we can't even ban users) and it takes a huge amount of time convict someone as a 100% scammer
we won't ban users just because we aren't exactly sure if the are a harm to our trading community or completely peaceful (for that case we now have the "Trade Restricted" Status)

Longer threads in the complaint area only result in longer waiting times
also don't forget to bump your topics there

i remember the time when you couldnt trade at all without a middleman
