Paypal invoice as gift?

Hello there, I haven't used paypal for a long while.. Did a transction couple of hours ago and got the payment as gift as agreed. However I got this on the paypal:
It seems to be an invoice that is paid, however marked as gift. When I look on google it seems like I got scammed? The payment is not on my account yet.

He isnt trolling you, you got scammed by a old paypal trick.

It doesn't make any sense, everything written down there says I should receive it within 1-2 business days and it's even marked as paid. How can it be a trick
