And why this forum need's them!

Hello everyone, Bane here, (that's with a russian a), formally know as [GM]Bane, mod of the Shaiya section, grand duke of epic, (sorry never mind I am not the grand duke of epic, that is tyler's title), and moderator of the Shaiya section!!!!!!! So, I am here to tell everyone here why we need user award's and there pro's and con's!

Pro's

They will increases the high quality post on Epvper's, as people will want the award's.

• • They will give Epvper user's a new 'challenge' to try to accomplish.

• They will help new member's know more about older member's, what they are good at, and the type of person they are
• They are fun and just epic!

Con's

• They will give some user's a reason to brag!
• They might cause slight competition..

What they do, where they would be.

The award's would give the user no power's, and no special area access, they would just be for the fun of it.

They would be located right below your profile when you post, where the 'skype, ICQ, MSN ETC icon's are'. And yes, they would be the same size as the skype icon, they would NOT be HUGEMONGUS. just s


For the admin's ease, here is where you can get it from; I realize that you will need to make the icon's, but we have plenty of artist that can do it, I also have a list of good award's if intrested! (I'm pasting this to show I did research), infact I was about to make a custom plugin just for epvper's, when I found that thread xD!

Bei so vielen Usern kann man sowas nicht gut machen.
Die meisten sind nur in bestimmten Sectionen unterwegs, da kannst du keine richtigen Vergleiche ziehen.

Man könnte es aber so machen, dass wen ein User zum beispiel 4000 Post´s hat, dass es Fett hervorgehoben wird.

Wer 10.000 Post´s + hat, bei dem wird es Gold Fett hervorgehoben.

Nein bitte nicht dann geht dieses gehunte nach den Awards los. Den einzigen Award den man einführen sollte ist: Ist in einem Gamehackingforum unterwegs und versteht auch etwas davon.

Jeder kann in einem Monat sich 4000 Posts im OT erspamen,
das wäre ziemlich unfair denen gegenüber, die ihr Posts durch hilfreiche Antworten bekommen.

Abgesehen davon finde ich diese Idee schwachsinn, so wie's jetzt is is doch gut!

Anyway, balancing the pros and cons I can't really tell whether I'm in favor of this or not which is why I'm gonna abstain from voting.

Seems like a good idea, but depending on the "awards" this could bring more cons than the ones you mentioned, but taking into account that we don't know the list of awards, I like the idea, something new is always rejected at the begining, but if it is good, people end up by accepting and even loving it.
