Lol, Nomad - any reason for you getting the "Former Staff" badge? I assume a translator is still part of the staff?

I know, but "Former Staff" kinda implies that he's not a staff member anymore. Sounds wrong considering the fact that he actually is one.

Indeed. But I guess there is a seperation between moderating positions and content team, which allows getting the badge although being part of it.

I actually find that badge really cool. Besides one (or was it two?) years of free Premium, you get nothing for having been moderator - which is fine, because you do it voluntarily (at least you should). Now you got that badge, which, for me, is stating: "Hey Nomad, thanks for doing all that mod stuff and **** back then. Here, have a badge."
I know that some think people only want that rank to be better than the rest. Not true. It's a symbol given to me by the administration, thanking for what I have done. It's not about the rank, but about emotional value.

I'm guessing: Most of them aren't able to speak english properly, which causes them to flame in the german thread only.
